Another great weekend was had by all at Your Vintage Life towers! On yet another buying trip Mr YVL came home laden with 1980s board games. Off went the television as we all sat around the playroom’s 1950s melamine table.
First up was Ker Plunk! We love the 70s children’s faces all over the original box.
We stuck all the pins in and filled it up with marbles, then took it in turns to pull them out again.
Kitty loved it so much although she didn’t really get the point of the game. Every time a marble fell out (meaning she was losing) she got really excited.
Then we moved onto Buckaroo. The donkey was set then loads until it bucked all the items off.
Finally it was Perfection. I particularly love the hair cuts of the family on the box!
Set the timer and fit the shapes into the correct holes. I managed to do it within two gos……much to the annoyance of my family.
Who else loves board games, especially playing them with the family rather than the modern games console? Any childhood memories of playing and winning?
Herbie was so excited he took his top off!
We love them, and definitely werent bored!
Loving your blogs today! i remember playing buckaroo with my sister. Fond memories
