A few weeks back we bought a great selection of vintage hats dating from the 1940s through to the 1980s. A small navy one with added flowers and a small veil immediately caught my eye. It dated from the 1950s and would make a great wedding hat. I kept wearing it around the house and secretly wanted to keep it.
The next week Mr YVL took it to The Vintage Fair in Shoreditch, London where his best selling line that day was vintage hats. He sold the coveted one to a lady called Anneleise going to her partners brother’s wedding.
And here she is. It matches perfectly with her dress and really glams up her look. We are so pleased it went to a good home.
And am I jealous? Of course not!
