We love Mobiles in all 4 colour ways especially the yellow. This pattern was originally designed in the 1950s and was first printed on rayon – and is now a wallpaper too. We often see cushions made with this fabric but none stand out to me like Carla and Martin’s home which was featured in our book “Style your modern vintage home”. Their dark elm Ercol

I’m sure there’s a buyer or set designer on Eastenders or at the BBC in general who loves mid-century design. I’m sure one of the houses had Tretchikoff’s ‘Dying Swan’. And Saturday Kitchen had a load of Whitefriars glass on the set too.
