Finding a piece of wall art that you connect with can be hard. When I go to shops like IKEA for example, while I like the furniture with its sleek lines, the canvas prints can sometimes leave me a little cold. My mantra is wear what you love and fill your home with what you love, so if the piece leaves me with a feeling of “nothing” then it is not for me. Let me introduce you to Posterlounge – who recently approached me to review one of their products – who have the best pieces of wall art if you, like me, have a vintage mid century kitchen.
As you know I love Cathrine Holm enamelwear, it is featured in my book, as a pin as part of Vintage Pin Club and I have an ever growing collection in my kitchen. So when I flicked through the huge catalogue of prints at Posterlounge I was so pleased to see some with the classic Lotus print on. In fact I got a tad excited!
Off I went to order one and I am so pleased with it. I chose one in green and orange to match my kitchen and my cookware; it also has an orange lidded jar on which I also have. It is like the image is of my kitchen shelf.
The designer is called Elisandra Sevenstar and lives in Germany. I am sure there she has seen lots of West German Pottery which also featured heavily in her designs. Have a look at some of my favourites here:
Elisandra Sevenstar is an autodidact and originally a journalist who currently lives in Berlin. She began her literary career more than 10 years ago with a self-initiated project, a cookbook. Apart from food, maps and vintage themes are among her favourite motifs. She also likes to illustrate quotations. For her “Retro-Pop” style Elisandra Sevenstar often finds inspiration in past epochs, old films or a stroll over the flea market.

This is a sponsored post but as always, all thoughts are my own. I only share items I truly love and think you will too.
It’s amazing. This wall art is perfectly suiting your kitchen.
