Yes I realise that Father’s Day is this Sunday but there is still time to get him something that not only he will love but you will also appreciate (there are no I Love Dad slippers around here!) Here are my favourite vintage present ideas (some of which I shared in The Lady Magazine last week)
Vintage Present Ideas For the Dapper Man
It’s all about the accessories if your dad loves to dress up! I love these by 20th Century Chap;

Vintage Present Ideas For the Dad That Likes a Tipple
My husband loves his craft ale but so many love gin these days (is it just me or is everyone drinking gin?). If you are going to give him a tipple why not choose a beautiful looking bottl such as this called Rock Rose gin. You could go all 1970s and add a candle into it afterwards!
Or how about an indie craft ale by Hillside Brewery? Spoiler Alert: I am going to fill a vintage bucket with food and booze this year from the kids to their dad! You could always buy him a vintage glass or tankard to go with it.
Vintage Present Ideas For the Go Outdoors Dad
I love vintage pieces for the garage – styling up the shelves around all his clutter! These vintage oil cans from H is for Home are useful and look good too. Maybe make him an upcycled clock from a bike wheel to hang in his garage too? This was an early project of mine for Reloved Magazine.
Vintage Present Ideas For the Stay At Home Dad
If your Dad doesn’t hang out in the garage but prefers the couch, how about a vintage sporting cushion from We Love Cushions. And with Wimbledon around the corner this makes a timely gift too and perfect for the man who loves sport.
Vintage Present Ideas For the Retro Dad
Or how about simply going all out vintage? This 1980s glass panel from an old pin ball machine by Pineapple Retro is too cool for school.The alcohol items have been gifted to me – please read my full disclosure statement for more details
