We’ve enjoyed our week, and have been busy planning our exciting new venture which will be revealed at the start of March. In between designing websites and planning we did some shopping (naturally!). We went out buying stock but seemed to treat ourselves to a few small things.
My YVL was very happy with his orange retro tape dispenser and I love my vintage boiled egg cosy in the shape of a house. Kitty was bought a 1980s Peter Rabbit tin with a hanging Peter inside. Herbie loved his non vintage gift…let’s face it every 5 year old loves a Scooby Doo DVD!
Vintage Academy had their second business column printed in Vintage Life magazine. Keeley and I had a great brain storming session on Monday, debating some new ideas for the business that will benefit vintage businesses. Watch this space!
Also, Vintage Life revealed their team of experts and who should I see smiling out at me when I opened the magazine up…me! I’m next to Wayne Hemingway also which is pretty cool!
We were also interviewed for the National Vintage Awards website to talk about last years win. Read it here.
The week before last Mr YVL spent the whole week cleaning up our stock of retro lighting and our whole lounge was covered in bits and bobs to finish the job. I moaned all week at the mess…but then these lights appeared! Beautiful, glossy, and ready for sale. We will be adding them online this week.
On that note, we better get back to adding stock online! Hope you are all surviving this terrible weather…the sight of these snow drops this week gave me some hope that spring is round the corner!
Have a great week everyone!
