Teacher presents…with a difference!

With the end of term in sight, all us parents are thinking about presents to says thank you to the teachers who have patiently taught our children over the last year (as well as thinking about no alarm clocks, no ironing uniform and more importantly, no homework!!)

The best thing you can do is make a card for them – what a great opportunity to share their artistic flair! Another lovely idea is to make a scrap book highlighting all that they have loved about the last year. Every year I buy a notebook made from old, battered children’s books, lovingly upcycled into writing books and diaries. These are from Retro From Scratch and this year we have chosen 2 including this one.

But if you want to buy a new present here are some great ideas by Present Indicative. They have produced an interesting range of academically inspired gifts, with quirky designs – let’s face it, they are much better than I LOVE MY TEACHER mugs!
