Last week has been hot and busy…but our holiday is just around the corner which is giving me hope of sunny days with the family, plus time off work which is rare for business owners!
We received our new logo. As you will know our logo is more of a banner: long and thin so hasn’t worked in square settings. Kate from the Vintage Directory designed us one based around a franked postage mark which looks slightly faded. She has also designed icons of the three key areas we sell: furniture, fashion and home. Watch this space as they will start to appear online.
Our Fab sale sold on Monday so we spent most of the week packing boxes. They all had to go to Germany to then be sent out to our customers. We loved selling though Fab and cannot wait ‘til the next time!
We went out for a rare night out as the children went to the grandparents for the weekend. We went for a Japanese meal and I wore my favourite 1970s maxi dress. This was teamed with my oversize 80s clutch bag! It felt like being abroad as it was so warm even late into the evening.
I started to give interviews for the book launch which is getting ever closer! The first was for the publisher and next week I am doing one for V &Oak magazine. I am also planning Christmas articles for magazines….odd to think about the festivities in December in July.
This weekend we are off to Peppa Pig World…yes you heard right! It’s Kitty’s third birthday on Monday so a trip to the land of pink pigs is in order! Wish me Luck!
