YVL: Tell us all about yourself
My name is Rachel, I am from Northamptonshire but now live in Lincoln with my husband and daughter.
I went to Art College and then did a diploma and a degree in Conservation and Restoration. I have also trained in traditional upholstery. Before I set up Vintage Actually I had been working as a Civil Servant But took voluntary redundancy to work for myself.
YVL: Tell us more about Vintage Actually?
I set up Vintage Actually in 2012 selling vintage furniture and homeware on-line. I reupholster and refurbish vintage furniture (when needed) myself which I love doing and I choose homeware for the site that is bright and colourful or quirky and eye catching. My customers are people who are looking for something a bit different for their home.
