It’s Friday again, it soon comes around doesn’t it? I’m enjoying wearing my autumn fashion and this week I’m loving my new, vintage 1960s style plum mini dress.
It is from Primark and has a real 1960s vibe to it. Firstly, I love the colour which is a rich plum.
The sleeves are a thick chiffon, slightly ballooned, with a lace detailing on the shoulder.
It has a pleat at the front to give it movement. I only bought it a few weeks ago so should be still available now.
I’m wearing it with last years long cardigan from Monsoon. I bought this is in the sale as it was a bargain price but haven’t really worn it much. It goes with the dress perfectly, not just for the colour but for the length too.
What I love most about the cardigan is the pom pom detailing all around the edges.
I’m wearing it with black opaque tights and my Lotta From Stockholm clogs. It would look great with black brogues too.
The hat is from Primark bought in the summer. I knew I would wear this come the winter and I was right. I love the pale pink colour – it is not too girly and looks great with my hair.
Of course my handbag is vintage! It is a very dark brown gladstone bag, bought from Twinwood Festival as few years ago.
This outfit even got compliments in the playground (and that doesn’t happen often – most look at me like I’m mad!)
What are you wearing today?
