We Love….Crown Devon’s Stockholm

Up until recently the only Crown Devon we had bought were retro storage canisters. Think funky orange flowers, very typical of the late 1960s.

Then Mr YVL bought a box full of  vintage Stockholm ceramics, and this is when I fell in love with Crown Devon.

It was designed in 1955 by Bill Kemp and was produced for only a decade. It reminds me of Christmas, with its creamy matt finish and red leaping deer.

Some have a real art deco feel to them, in their styling and shape.

Our collection sold in days, which now I am a little sad about. I reckon next Christmas Day I will remember them and wish they had never been added to the site.
