I just have to share with you these fabulous bag charms which are so tongue in cheek about all of us Instagram people! They are by False Friends, who are made up of the talented Claire Spake (who designs all my logos and drew my face at the top of the page) and Liz Chan from the Fickle Craftroom. Their mission is to poke fun at the “picture perfect Insta lifestyle”.
This one is my favourite; the MYSELF charm which comes in a pink and gold mirror finish. For anyone that loves themselves (which we all should do) you need this in your life, hanging off your bag…plus you can look in it to apply your lippy!
Next up is the Flamin-go away charm which I am all over. Years ago I had pink flamingo wallpaper from Cole and Son hanging in my lounge but fast forward 9 years I have so had enough of the cute pink bird. It is now so overdone, that I am ready for them to flaminGO AWAY.
Fed up with all the jungle plants and succulents on Instagram? Do you, like me, have a tendency to kill them by over watering? Then you NEED this one.
I love the styling and photography of the images – with the 1970s feel to it! The photos are by Shot by Hobbs

Love the photography really sets them off. I would hang the plant charm on my one house plant ( before I’m ill it off !).
The photography is great isn’t it? Glad you like them and that you also kill all your houseplants! Kate
Love the tongue in cheek slant on these. Neat ideas, esp. Myself for quick hair check or lippy top up. One less thing to scrabble about for inside my handbag.
Glad you like them! Which is your favourite? Kate
Aww thanks for the feature beauty! x
That’s OK! They are fabulous – remember life before bag charms? What did we do to our handbags – they were just naked! My daughter has hundreds attached to her school bag! Kate x
