Our Vintage Life

Gosh it has been 3 weeks since I’ve written a Friday blog! It’s been a busy one, mainly being away in Berlin and then being ill with a darn sinus infection.

Berlin was amazing. It was so good to have a weekend with Adam and no kids…to relax and by us rather than mummy and daddy. We stayed in a cool retro apartment, trawled the streets for vintage and bought lots of ceramics at a flea market. We also ate loads…the food there is amazing! Read it about it here.

On the work front, we have been busy preparing for our vintage wedding photo shoot for Vintage Life magazine. It’s today so fingers crossed it doesn’t rain. The dresses are amazing…here is a sneaky peek at a beautiful 1950s one in pale pink.

We were interviewed by Katherine Higgins for Homes and Antiques magazine about vintage wedding dresses. This is for their June issue, to coincide with the new exhibition at the V&A.

The wedding fair business is going well, we have only a few stalls left for our first event on May 18th. This is very exciting and are busy organising workshops for all our brides.

We have moved into bigger business premises which means we can have more customers around. Adam finished the photography studio yesterday, which means we can now photo our furniture at work rather than at home.
