OOTD: 60s flower power

Today I ditched the 1950s with a vengeance to embrace the 1960s flower power vibe.

It was so hot that  a floaty maxi dress was in order. This one is fab with its bright citrus colours. Surprisingly it is made in England by Blanes..this look is usually from Hawaii or Miami and very rarely from the UK.

It’s in a crepe which means it sits really nicely.

I wore basic Birkenstocks in white… Sensible footwear!

So I reckon a bag is needed (as ever!) I chose an Enid Collins tote also from the 1960s. This one is a personal favourite with its bright plastic beads in the shape of knitting squares. It says Granny Squares in the corner. It’s quite rare as she usually made bags with flowers and bugs on.

In my hair I have yet another bird hair clip from Now, Voyager. This one is a slightly large peach coloured humming bird.

What do you think?
