How to make a Valentine’s wreath from broken vintage jewellery

I love this idea, not just for Valentine’s Day but to hang in your bedroom all year round. This wreath has been made from broken pieces of vintage costume jewellery which I often have lying around in bags, unsused and discarded.

However, this way is super simple.

Materials needed:

  • thick cardboard
  • scissors
  • pen and ruler
  • ribbon
  • sticky tape
  • broken jewels
  • PVA glue

1. Cut out a heart shape from the card. The size should depend on how many pieces of jewellery you have. I used a saucer to get the perfect rounded tops to the heart and then used the ruler to establish where the base point should be, then joined them all up together.

4. Using the glue apply the pieces of jewellery into place. Using a glue gun makes this process easier.

So cute huh?
