Anyone who loves fashion won’t have failed to notice Kate Middleton’s boho style seen on her recent trip to India and Bhutan. She has embraced a relaxed modern vintage, late 60s/70s style with paisleys, patchwork cottons, long earrings and maxi dresses with deep red tones. I love this look on her, she looks relaxed and in keeping with her environment but I also love this look for me. It is one that works well in vintage whether it be the original 1970s kaftans or the 1990s hippy grunge version.
Here’s how and where to get the look
Kate’s Monsoon wedges worn in the first photo have sold out but are still available in different colours. These brown ones will go with everything – I love brown shoes for the summer.
Think long, dangly in gold and silvers like these from Accessorize.
Here are my favourite 3 high street picks, to get this look.
- Urban Outfitters
But what about going for the originals – by that I don’t mean the designers and high street shops Kate chose this year. I mean the vintage versions!
- White vintage maxi from Love Miss Daisy
- Vintage bibbed maxi from Lovely’s Vintage
- Sequined maxi from BOB Vintage
Loving this look and cannot wait for the sun to shine so I can embrace it too!
